From the Catalog to the Street: Lane Bryant's Brocade Blazer and Necklace Tee

Some of you may be tired of seeing me wear the same pieces over and over again, but you know me, when I love something I wear t~~he heck out of it~~ it as much as I can. This brocade blazer by Lane Bryant has become a staple piece in my wardrobe. It fits well, and it can be dressed up or down. For today's outfit I paired it with Isabel and Ruben Toledo's Necklace Shirt, which has also become a favorite. It has long sleeves (even though you can't tell from this photo) and it is longer from one side, which gives a super trendy look. Let me tell you, it is NOT just a simple t-shirt!

After the "photo-shoot" I got home and realized that I was wearing the exact same thing that the Lane Bryant model wore for her photo-shoot, and decided to begin a new section titled "From the Catalog to the Street" where, when feasible, I will show you how I take the look I saw on a magazine, website, catalog, and made it my own. Not all of us have the gorgeous body that the plus size models have, but that doesn't mean we can't rock the same outfit! :D

Ya se, algunas de ustedes han de estar cansadas de verme usar las mismas piezas una y otra vez, pero ya me conocen! Cuando me gusta algo lo uso hasta cansarme. Este saco con diseño brocado de Lane Bryant se ha convertido en una de mis piezas favoritas. Me queda bien y se puede usar formal o informalmente. Para el atuendo de hoy, decidí usarlo con esta playera de Isabel y Ruben Toledo con diseño de collar, la cual se ha vuelto una de mis favoritas. Tiene mangas largas y es mas larga de un lado que de otro, función que creo me hace ver un poco mas delgada y lo cual la convierte en una prenda especial y no solo una simple playera.

Después de tomarme las fotos para este atuendo me di cuenta que estaba usando la misma combinación que la modelo utilizo en su sesión de fotos para la tienda, así que decidí emprender una nueva sección llamada "Del Catalogo a la Calle" donde les mostrare como yo tomo un look de alguna revista, catalogo, o pagina y lo hago mío. No todas tenemos el cuerpo como las modelos de ropa, pero eso no significa que no podamos usar el mismo (o casi el mismo) atuendo! :D
