Chicas! ¿Como están? Como saben, en unos días me voy a mi Mexico lindo y querido y he tenido cuatro mil cosas que hacer. Me fui a Los Angeles, me fui a Tijuana a llevar a Vicky y a mi Mamá al doctor – esto es muy común para nosotros que vivimos en el area fronteriza— y también he andado de arriba a abajo por todo San Diego.

Algo que muchas de ustedes no saben de mi es que desde el 2001 me volví la "cuidadora" de mi Mamá, quien tuvo un accidente que le afecto mucho su pié. Yo aún estaba chica cuando paso eso, pero desde ese momento sabia que tenía que animarme a aprender a manejar lo mas pronto posible para que pudiéramos ser mas independientes y para poder recoger a mi Mamá después del doctor, y especialmente después de sus operaciones. Yo se que aun se puede ser independiente usando el transporte publico; sin embargo, algunos choferes no esperaban a que mi Mamá se sentara y eso siempre me ponía de nervios por que cualquier movimiento en falso le ocasiona un gran dolor.

En cuanto pude aprendi a manejar, y desde entonces soy gustosamente la chofer oficial de mi Mamá. Somos muy apegadas y compartimos mucho juntas. Una de las cosas que hacemos a diario es llevar a Vicky al parque para que pueda correr todo lo que quiera. Mi carro no es un objeto de lujo, es algo que me ayuda a ahorrar tiempo y poder hacer todo lo que tengo que hacer en el día, desde ir al trabajo, hasta llevar a mi Mamá a sus citas medicas. Se que para muchas de ustedes su automóvil también es una necesidad, por eso siempre hay que recordar que tenemos que revisar el aceite por lo menos cada 3,000 millas.

Mi Papá aveces me ayuda a revisar el aceite de mi carro, y cuando puede le hace el cambio de aceite el mismo, pero para ser honesta no siempre tiene tiempo. Antes llevaba mi carro a la agencia donde duraban horas, pero desde que fui a Walmart, ahora no voy a otro lugar. Hoy me toco ir a hacerle el cambio de aceite con Quaker State por que he andado de arriba a abajo con el y era tiempo de un cambio de aceite. Me gusta que es rápido, no hay que hacer cita, y puedo utilizar el tiempo de espera para hacer mis compras del mandado, compras personales, o de maquillaje. 100% recomendado! Después del cambio de aceite me fui con mi Novio, mi Mamá, y Vicky a pasear al parque ya que Vicky ha estado un poco enferma y necesitaba salir. Me encanta mi carro! Sin el no me alcanzaría el día para poder cumplir con todas mis obligaciones de hija, hermana, novia, amiga, bloguera, madre de una perrita etc.

El día de hoy hasta tiempo me dio de tomarme fotos de mi atuendo casual. Aproveche que me entregaron mi carro en media hora y me fui al parque a pasear a Vicky y tomarme fotos para el blog. ¡Si! ¡Mate dos pájaros de un tiro! Espero que les guste mi atuendo mega casual y las incito a siempre cuidar de su carro. El no cuidar de el, puede resultar en un problema mas grande que hará que gastemos mas dinero y tiempo para arreglarlo!

Girls! How are you? As some of you may know, I will be leaving to my beautiful Mexico un a few days and I've had a million things to do. I went to L.A., I traveled to Tijuana to take Vicky and my mom to the Doctor —this, by the way, is ver common for many of us living in border towns– and I've also been up and down all over San Diego.

Something that you may not know about me is that since 2001 I became the main caretaker of my Mom who had an accident that affected her leg. I was very young when it happened, but since then I knew that I had to learn how to drive very soon so that we could be more independent and especially so that I could pick her up after her Doctor's appointments and surgeries. I know that we can be independent using public transportation; however, some bus drivers would not wait until she sat down to drive and that always made me super nervous because a false movement meant a ton of pain for her.

As soon as I could I learned how to drive and since then I have been, with pride, my Mom's chofer. We have a super special bond and we share a lot of things together. One of the things we do daily is go to the park to walk Vicky so that she can run as much as she wants to. My car is not a luxury, it is a tool that helps me save time so that I can go to work, take my Mom to her appointments, etc. I know that for many of you your car is also very, that is why it is pivotal that yo change check its oil every 3,000 miles.

My dad usually checks my car's oil, and when he can he changes it for me; however, he is always very busy and doesn't always have time. Before, I used to go to the dealership; however, since I discovered Walmart's Automotive Services now it has become my preferred option. Today I went to get the Quaker State oil change because I've been up and down with my car and it was time for an oil change. I like that its quick, you do not need to make an appointment, and I can use my waiting time to shop for groceries, home essentials, or makeup! I recommend Walmart for your next oil change 100%! You will save a lot of time and since you will not wait for hours, you can use your free time to enjoy it with the family, your friends, working, or whatever you need to do. Maximize your "ME" time and minimize your waiting time!

After getting my oil changed, I went to the park with my Boyfriend, my Mom, and Vicky. I like spending time with them and Vicky needed to go out because she had been sick and needed to go finally go out. I love my car! Without it, I could not fulfill all of my obligations as a daughter, girlfriend, sister, friend, blogger, and mother of a small dog.

Today I even had time to snap some outfit photos of my casual outfit of the day. I took advantage of having extra time, since the service of my car was completed in 30 minutes, and I went to enjoy some family time and take some outfit photos for the blog. Yes! I killed two birds with one stone! I hope that you girls like my casual outfit of the day and I want to encourage you to always take good care of your car. Not doing so can lead to really bad consequences that will lead to bigger problems that will cost money and time without your valued car.

Para el día a día así es como me visto. Para mi la comodidad es lo primo y unos jeans y una blusa fresca son esenciales en esta época de calor. Los zapatos flats son mis preferidos para días donde no tengo que ir a eventos o fiestas. Casi día me verán con unos de ellos!

En si, mi día ya fue un poco mas relajado que la semana anterior gracias a que pude ahorrarme tiempo en mi cambio de aceite, pero me imagino que no durara mucho esta tranquilidad por que se acerca la hora de irme a Mexico y aun tengo algunos pendientes.

Por cierto, para su información, no todas las tiendas Walmart tienen Servicio de Automóvil, aseguren de revisar en la pagina oficial de Walmart donde esta la locación mas cercana. He visitado esta locación muchas veces y nunca he tenido una mala experiencia. Una de las cosas que me encanta son los horarios ya que todos los días de la semana y cierran algo tarde (a comparación de otros lugares).

This is how I dress for a casual day. For me, conform is essential and jeans and a cute top us my go-to outfit. Flats are also essential. Whenever I'm not attending a party or event, you will most likely see me in flats.

Overall, my day was a bit relaxed today because I was able to save some time getting my oil changed, but I can just imagine quickly turning hectic again as I get closer to traveling. I still have not packed!

By the way, I want to warn you that not all Walmart stores have a Automotive Service Center, make sure to check online to find the one near you. I've been to this location many times and I've never had a bad experience. I like that they are open every day of the week and have hours that will fit most people's schedule.
